Abstract
An apparatus is described in which filamentous algae can be grown under conditions of continuous flow at river levels of nutrients and be harvested at the end of an experimental period. Details of a trial experiment involving the culture of Ulothrix zonata (Weber et Mohr) Kütz. are given.
