A Case Study of <Korean Language Education Practicum> with Hybrid Learning

Abstract

본 연구는 기존의 <한국어교육실습> 과목이 가진 한계점을 극복하고 보완하기 위해 비대면 온라인 방식으로강의실습을 실시하였고 이를 바탕으로 한 학기간의 수업 기간 중 ‘비대면 강의실습’에 해당하는 부분의 준비 및 진행 과정을 서술하였다. 또한 수업 후 실시되었던 만족도 조사의 내용을 분석하고 이를 통해 교과목으로서의 <한국어교육실습>의 방향성에 관해 제언하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 실습 기관 부족 및 실습 대체 등으로 인해 진정한 의미의 교육실습이 이루어지지 못하는 한계를 코로나19로 인해 급부상하고 있는 온라인 수업으로 보완하고자 하였으며, 이를 위해 16주 간의 <한국어교육실습> 과정 중 4주 동안 인도네시아 내 I재단과 협업하여 온라인 한국어수업 및 <한국어교육실습>을 동시 진행하였다. 온라인 수업 및 강의실습에서는 지식 전달과 더불어 학생들과의 의사소통 및 활용 단계 위주로 수업을 진행하였다. 해당 과정이 끝난 이후 실시된 만족도 조사를 통해 본 연구에서기획한 수업이 현지 학생들과 실습에 참여한 수강생 모두에게 긍정적으로 작용하였음을 알 수 있었다. 특히 연구를 진행하였던 H대학교에서는 온라인 방식의 교육실습이 한국어 예비교원 학생들로 하여금 기존의 방식에서보다더욱 적극적으로 수업에 주도적 역할을 하게끔 작용했음을 알 수 있었다. 따라서 비대면 형식으로 <한국어교육실습>을 시행하는 방법은 기존의 <한국어교육실습> 수업 방식에서 문제가 되었던 실습 기관 부족이나, 실습을 다른형식의 수업으로 대체하는 사항을 극복할 수 있을 것으로 보이며, 현지에 적당한 한국어교육기관이 없어 어려움을겪고 있는 학생이나 교육기관에도 상당한 도움을 줄 수 있을 것으로 예상한다.This study aims to overcome the limitations of a practicum subject of Korean language Educationfor Foreigner at universities. For this purpose, It was conducted Non-face to face and on-linePracticum as well as class of Korean. It is also analyzed a satisfaction survey of the courses. Inthis study, It was been tried to supplement the limitations of the lack of practical institutionsand the replacement of practical training, with online classes which are rapidly rising due toCovid 19. For this reason it was progressed Korean Practicum and Korean class courses at thesame time with cooperation of Indonesian education institution, for 4 weeks. In addition, thisonline class focused on communication and utilization with students as well as knowledge transfer. In the satisfaction survey after the courses, the course has worked positively for both localstudents and University students. It was also found that the online practicum let the students inUniversity play a leading role as teachers more actively than in the existing way. Therefore, it isexpected that implementing Korean education Practicum with flipped-online class could behelpful to the students and also educational institutions that are struggling with Korean education.
