Abstract
This chapter provides for the complete field assembly and installation of major process equipment in a geothermal plant. The chapter includes the estimate man-hour tables, estimate sheets, and installation man-hours for the pumps, mixers, blowers, filtration, sludge processing, manifolds, and generator. The equipment craft man-hours were determined from time and methods for the measurement of construction labor for field erection of process equipment installed in a water treatment plant. The estimator estimates similarities and differences for proposed equipment and installation for previously installed equipment for which historical data are available. The purpose of this chapter is to provide a comprehensive and accurate method for compiling equipment direct craft man-hour estimates for the ethanol plant.
