Abstract
This section provides for the complete field assembly and installation of major process equipment in a combined cycle power plant. The section includes the field scope of work, estimate man-hour tables, estimate sheets, and installation man-hours for the Gas and Steam Turbines, Heat Recovery Steam Generators, Air-Cooled Condenser, Surface Condenser, and a Structural Steel Man Hour Table. The equipment craft man-hours were determined from time and methods for the measurement of construction labor for field erection of process equipment installed in a combined cycle power plant. The estimator estimates similarities and differences for proposed equipment and installation for previously installed equipment for which historical data are available. The purpose of this section is to provide a comprehensive and accurate method for compiling equipment direct craft man-hour estimates for the combined cycle equipment.
