Abstract
The recent applications of pulsed electric energy (PEE) in extraction techniques from bio-, food, and agricultural products are reviewed. The possibility of using PEE-assisted methods as supplementary tools for enhancing osmotic, pressure, and other commonly accepted techniques of extraction and recent examples of practical PEE applications are also discussed.
