Abstract

This chapter covers recent advances in the use of quantum materials to develop high-performance analytical sensors. On the first section, we will describe the types and properties of two-dimensional quantum materials used in sensing devices. On the second section, we will give a recent overview on the use of such materials for gas sensing, electrochemical (bio)-sensing, optical sensing, and as photodetectors. A brief overview and future trends of such rapidly developing field will be given in the conclusion.
