Abstract

This chapter describes the robotic anterior component technique. It uses the surgeon’s usual anatomical expertise (onlay technique) with the manipulation and advantages of minimally invasive surgery, mainly the robot. It maintains the precepts of reestablishment of the midline integrity and insertion of mesh in the preaponeurotic space, without contact with the viscera.
