Abstract
Bariatric surgery is one of the most common general surgical procedures in the USA due to the continued impact of morbid obesity. Bariatric surgery is now increasingly being performed using robotic technology. This chapter details my technique for performing the robotic gastric bypass using the da Vinci Xi robot. The chapter will also cover common pearls and pitfalls that should help you to have a smooth experience.
