Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look back on the achievements of the past 10 years since the founding of KUSF and to seek new business directions for advancing university sports. KUSF has academic significance in that it not only verifies its influence as a sports organization, but also looks back on the development potential of university sports that has been established so far, and seeks sustainable future directions and tasks. In order to find a direction KUSF, attempting an approach through a multi-dimensional educational policy analysis model(Educational Policy Analysis through 4-Dimension Policy Analysis Model). As a result of policy analysis, the following conclusions were reached (1) Ensuring autonomy and independence of the university sports council: structural dimension, (2) changes in perception of each subject surrounding university sports: constitutive dimension, (3) sound management of university sports department: technical dimension, (4) student athletes and Values that do not differentiate between ordinary students: normative dimension. KUSF should take the lead in creating a sports culture shared by all participants in college sports, regardless of the division between student athletes and general students, beyond the normalization and advancement of college sports by accepting the development plans proposed to strengthen organizational competence and organizational values. Specifically, it is not only a single target, one-time program, but a positive experience of sharing college sports together can be expected through a chain reaction of support to the targets of policy beneficiaries such as the college sports department, student athletes, general students, leaders, and parents.
