Abstract

Based on the researcher’s observation that some students in the second grade of the junior high school feel difficult to learn dictation and do not understand the lesson when the process of teaching and learning is that they do not focus while they speak and laugh between them in the classroom, and this is the reason that some of them do not understand the lesson and some of them can understand the lesson, but it is difficult to distinguish write whose exits are equal to the write ت andة . Therefore, the researcher tries to overcome these problems by applying the selective method of Arabic films in teaching dictation. The objectives of this research were to know the effectiveness of the selective method of Arabic films in teaching dictation at the Al-Madani Al-Aziziyah Junior High School Aceh Besar and to introduce the activities of the teacher and students when applying the selective method by means of Arabic films in learning Dictation in the Al-Madani AL-Aziziyah Junior High School Aceh Besar The researcher uses the one-group pre-test post-test design, the researcher presents observation paper, tribal testing, and dimensional testing as research tools. The result of applying the selective method in the Arabic film method in teaching dictation in the second grade of the Junior High School Aceh Besar got an excellent score, in the activities of the teacher with a score of 92.5% and in the activities of students with a score of 92.5%، When analyzing observation data. The application of the selective method by the Arabic film method is effective in teaching dictation, and the researcher relies that the result of the test ( Paired Sample T-Test) obtained the result level of significance ( sig.2-tailed 0,000 )، It is smaller than the result of the indication level ( 0,005 ), indicating that zero assumption is cost-effective and alternative imposition is acceptable. It indicates that the application of the selective method by Arabic films is effective in teaching dictation.
