Abstract
“Family” generally means a unit composed of a husband, wife, and their children. This unit is a group based on marriage and biological parents, and refers to living together in the same space. The research subjects of this paper are「Nomad Land」and「Minari」. Film is a medium that can capture various and in-depth meanings hidden in culture and society. What we have confirmed in this paper is that the material elements that create the universe have two sides. The aspect of the implementation of the image was that it could be interpreted differently depending on the work. The four elements of Bachelard are water, fire, air, and earth. The conclusion drawn from both films is that the matrix of family dissolution and reunification is becoming more diversified day by day.
