Abstract
The article examines the current conditions of customs authorities in the Far Eastern region in the context of increasing foreign trade between Russia and China. It illustrates the results of the activities of the region’s customs authorities and highlights the main challenges. An assessment of state policy in the development of customs administration at the Russian-Chinese customs border is provided, existing problems are identified, and solutions are proposed.
