Abstract

This study attempted to implications for the university reform issue of win-win development with the region, to overcome the limitations of extra-curricular education by expanding the scope of education, and discussing new possibilities by examining the program of community and on-line links operated by K University in 2022. Regional cooperation and on-line extra-curricular program operation were carried out in the process of establishing operating principles, reviewing programs, operating programs, evaluating and refluxing programs, and four regional cooperation and two on-line programs were selected and operated. As a result of the operation, it was possible to achieve the purpose of a variety of programs that accommodated the needs of students, showed high satisfaction, and was confirmed as a performance indicator of improving educational satisfaction. Based on this, the establishment of extra-curricular programs through the use of local resources first helps to expand the boundaries of specialized or small and medium-sized universities with limited resources, understand local culture, and have a sense of belonging and pride. Second, it is necessary to come up with the same operating process and quality management plan as in-school programs for programs that are expanded locally or on-line. Third, through collaboration with related organizations, we drew implications for the need to make efforts to customize new programs suitable for students. In addition, it was suggested that in order to expand the extension of extra-curricular education, necessary conditions such as the purpose and role of the university extra-curricular education, establishment of the values aimed at, ways to read students' hidden needs other than formal demand surveys, and solidarity between universities beyond regions should be preceded.
