In this study, we tried to find out the relationship between self-esteem, school life adaptation, and peer attachment perceived by teenagers, and to verify the mediating effect of peer attachment in the relationship between self-esteem and school life adaptation. Through this, the purpose is to provide positive support resources to teenagers and to help them adapt to school life by increasing peer attachment, thereby improving their ability to cope with school adaptation and improving the quality of life. Taken together, it was confirmed that peer attachment acts as an important variable in the relationship between self-esteem and school life adaptation, and peer attachment acts as a medium between these two variables. Therefore, efforts are required to provide positive support resources around students so that they can highly perceive self-esteem, and above all, it suggests that programs to improve peer attachment and apply them to school sites.
