Abstract
Within the framework of the presented research, the issues of the fundamental principles of the implementation of intelligent traffic management are considered. Innovative mechanisms for monitoring traffic speeds and traffic intensity, tracking car routes implemented within the framework of the intelligent transport system of the Belgorod urban agglomeration are presented. The positive effect of the implementation of these software and hardware complexes on key sections of the road network is calculated.
