Abstract

A diagram of a fuel cell system model suitable for use in road transport is given. The article contains the results of research based on a 50 kW fuel cell system. A weak link in the design of the auxiliary system has been identified, which significantly reduces the efficiency of the installation as a whole, and compensation options for this disadvantage are presented. The article also highlights options for storing hydrogen on board a vehicle necessary for the functioning of a fuel cell system. The requirements for both liquid and gaseous hydrogen are hig-hlighted, the methods of their implementation are reflected.
