Abstract

A mathematical model is proposed that describes the interactions of the three most dangerous natural phenomena in Greater Sochi. These are landslides, floods caused by heavy rains, and earthquakes. The model is a system of three differential equations, the stationary equilibria for which are known as the equilibrium surfaces of the catastrophe "cusp". Thus, the model takes into account possible abrupt changes in the state of urban landslides, levels of flooding of the area and tremors. An attempt has been made to mathematically detect the possibility of cyclic processes in the development of the state of the system "Landslide - flooding - earthquake".
