Abstract
The article is devoted to the study of the problems in the field of housing and communal services. Approaches to the definition of housing and communal services as a branch of politics and economics are defined. The analysis of normative legal acts regulating the sphere of housing and communal services and the implemented reforms is carried out. Actual problems connected with legislative and political regulation of housing and communal services are identified.
