Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the effect of Taekwondo players’ self-management strategies on exercise passion and sports confidence. In order to achieve the research objective, 236 Taekwondo players’ who registered with the Korea Taekwondo Association were selected for research, and the data analysis was conducted using SPSS 18.0 for frequency analysis, exploratory factor analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and regression analysis to draw the following conclusions. First, Among the sub factor of self-management strategy, mental management and physical management are positive effect on obsessive passion. Second, Among the sub factor of self-management strategy interpersonal management has been shown to have a positive effect on ability prove and coaching leadership, mental management has been shown to have a positive effect on ability prove, physical and psychological preparation, coaching leadership and social support. physical management has been shown to have a positive effect on the social support, Training management has been shown to have a positive effect on the coaching leadership. Third, Among the sub factor of exercise passion, obsessive passion has been shown to have a positive effect on the ability prove, physical and psychological preparation, coaching leadership, social support, And harmonic passion has been shown to have a positive effect on ability prove.
