Abstract

The purpose of this article is to report to the academic community on the case study of <Understanding Smart Media Contents>, a general elective course at Gwangju National University, and to present a model that can be applied in practice or widely referenced for convergent digital media literacy education in the university setting. As a subject that requires contemporary discussions on the cases of today's media platforms and contents, it will provide useful teaching models and data in the field of convergent media contents. In addition, it will help to improve the media literacy competence of learners to self-directly respond to and reflect on the moral and ethical problems caused by various smart media platforms and contents.
