Abstract

The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of NLP program including Mindfulness Meditation has on social-welfare officials’ emotion and resilience. For this purpose, NLP program including mindfulness meditation was developed. the fundamental structure of the program was composed mainly 8 stages of 150 minute each. The 24 candidates wanted to participate in the program. They were divided in two group, the treatment group and the control group by means of random sampling. The major results are as follows. First, There was a significant increase in total score of positive emotion in the treatment group. Second, There was a significant reduction in the depression score in the treatment group. Third, there was a significant increase in total score of resilience, three components of resilience (control, positivity, and sociality). In conclusion, this study showed that this program could have significant benefits to social-welfare officials’ emotion and resilience.
