Abstract

The article presents the results of a technical and technological study ceramics of the first half of the 20th century, originating from two now defunct settlements of the Tabunsky district ofthe Altai Territory: the village ofYamki and the village ofGrigorievka. It has been established that most of the investigated vessels were made of clays of medium and strong ferrous content, of various plasticity. Two recipes for molding masses have been recorded. The products were fired at high temperatures with oxygen access. Comparison of these collections with previously studied samples suggests that pottery dating from the first half ofthe 20th century from various settlements ofthe Tabunsky district ofthe Altai Territory was generally identical, and probably came from the same sources.
