Abstract

Our goal in writing the article «Ak Zhol, Which Has Fulfilled The Nation’s Hopes» is to describe the publications published in the periodical press at the beginning of the 20th century. We will focus on the feature of the article published in the publication, which touched on the issue of famine, land and water reforms, the fate of the nation, and social issues. In the process of researching and studying, we will present the fact that the policy in the direction of industrialization and collectivization of the country is published, and the importance of the national press in the society has increased. We will analyze the works of Alash figures A. Bokeikhanov, A. Baitursynov, M. Dulatov, S. Kozhanov, Zh. Aimautov, who contributed to increasing the valuable data of the topic. In the course of writing the article, we used the multivolume periodical publication «Ak Zhol». According to the requirements of that period, the periodical press wrote a lot about the direction taken by the newly formed government. Through the materials published in the publication, we evaluate the Alash movement, famine, land, women, culture, and literature. In the periodical press, articles about the «communist» were often published, describing the «circumstances» of the revolution in Russia. In the course of research, we noticed that it was also written about the «benefits of the minority nationalities to Kazakh-Kyrgyz». We could not hide the fact that the movement taking place in Kazakh society did not take on the same character as in Russia, but it took on a small class character. We are convinced that it is a newspaper that has called for a great movement, along with writing comprehensively about the existence and social situation of the Kazakh people.
