In modern business, visualisation of business processes is becoming not only a trend, but also a necessity to improve operational efficiency and management quality. Creating a clear and understandable visualisation allows you to better understand the complex internal mechanisms of the company, identify weaknesses, optimise performance and improve communication within the organisation. In this article we will consider the key steps and methods of creating visualisation of business processes. As an example, let’s consider the activities of an energy company that has a huge number of internal business processes. The part of the equipment maintenance and repair process that relates to metrological support of measuring equipment was taken for the study. During the analysis of the company’s activity and metrology department in the field of maintenance and repair of equipment the work on reengineering of business processes was done and the target state of business processes after the implementation of the software product and ERP-system was presented.
