Abstract

The purpose of this study is to suggest measures for activating classic music by using augmented reality, among other metaverse technologies. For the purpose of the study, this study used relevant preceding studies and relevant data.
 Advanced scientific technologies have been utilized in various fields since 2010. Especially, a new technology called metaverse is applied to various areas, along with distribution of smartphones and tablet computers. As classic music is gradually losing popularity, this study suggests measures to activate the classic music by utilizing augmented reality as the new utilization technique for boosting the classic music.
 This study suggested providing information about the classic music before the concert by using augmented reality and using augmented reality program to recreate the classic music. To revitalize the classic music market, this study also suggested on application of augmented reality to all classic music fields, like fashion industry and education industry.
