Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to identify the research methodological characteristics and overall research trends of the papers that used class cases among case studies in the field of Korean education. To this end, 30 academic papers extracted as research subjects were analyzed focusing on the research subjects and data collection and analysis methods. As a result of the analysis, it was found that there were many cases where Korean language classes as a foreign language subject were conducted for one to two semesters at domestic and foreign university institutions, and there were many cases of classes targeting 10 to 30 foreign learners. All papers tend to use the researcher's own classes as examples, but rarely apply objective observational methods such as keeping observation diaries or involving experts other than the researcher in the observations, and tend to describe their own classes from their own point of view. showed While surveys were actively used, interviews and self-reflection data collection methods, which are typical qualitative research methods, tended to be used very passively.
