Abstract

This study aimed to identify the research trends in the VR, AR a rising field in Industry 4.0 for traditional culture and propose policy suggestions. The terms VR and AR, which refer to key configuration, were added alongside the traditional culture in the terminology as journal articles search words to conduct this study and the used on text mining. The journal articles and theses collected from RISS yielded 1,186 on the traditional culture vr, and 239 on traditional culture AR. As a result of the study, frequency analysis of academic journals and dissertations showed that digital, virtual space, media art, cultural heritage, and animation were commonly ranked high. In the frequency analysis of academic journals and theses, the 4th Industrial Revolution and content (cultural content & digital content) were found to be highly ranked.
