Abstract

This study aimed to comprehensively investigate the current state of Korean language education in Turkmenistan and discuss the problems and development directions of Korean language education. The focus was on the main institutions of Korean language education in Turkmenistan, Azadi World Language Institute and Ashgabat King Sejong Institute, which have developed to the average level compared to other Central Asian countries in terms of Korean language and culture education. However, there are many problems with this educational development. Therefore, this study examined the overall state of Korean language education, with a focus on Azadi World Language Institute and Ashgabat King Sejong Institute, which have not been the subject of much interest thus far.
