Abstract

This study aims to explore future development directions for revitalizing local culture and arts education by confirming the details of the regional culture and arts education budget and ordinance enactment. The data of the study were examined by referring to the current status of regional culture and arts education support centers in 17 metropolitan and provincial governments by year provided by the Korea Culture and Arts Education Promotion Agency. In addition, as a public institution, its influence was confirmed by grasping the timing, status, and details of the ordinance, which is the legal basis for the operation of the business of culture and art education support center. Through this, this paper has significance as an objective and quantitative data for future research on culture and arts education.
