Abstract
The article presents the results of radiocarbon dating of mound No. 4 of the Inskoy Dol burial ground located in the Krasnoshchekovsky district of the Altai Territory. Radiocarbon dating was carried out at the Analytical Center for Isotope Research of the Institute for Monitoring Climatic and Ecological Systems of the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Tomsk). Calibration of radiocarbon age to calendar age was performed using the CALIB REV -8.2 program. As a result, the following dates were obtained: according to 16 (68%) -3632-3099 BC. by 26 (95%) -3937-2876 BC. The dates obtained for burial mound No. 4 of the Inskoy Dol burial ground generally correlate with the results of dating other sites of the Afanasevo culture. In general, on the basis of the results of archaeological and radiocarbon dating, mound No. 4 is attributed to the beginning of the 3rd millennium BC.
