Abstract

The purpose of this study is to investigate the mediating effects of job crafting on the relationship between job autonomy and innovative behavior perceived by childcare teachers. For this purpose, we collected data by surveying 261 chidcare teachers working in the city of Busan. The collected data was analyzed using SPSS 25.0 and AMOS 22.0. The results of this study are as follows. First, we found significant positive relationships among the job autonomy, job crafting, and innovative behavior. Second, we observed that childcare teachers' job autonomy had a significant positive effect on job crafting and innovative behavior, and job crafting had a significant positive effect on innovative behavior. Third, we confirmed that job crafting has a significant mediating effect in the relationship between job autonomy and innovative behavior. Based on these research results, we discussed ways to support childcare teachers' job autonomy and job crafting.
