Abstract

This thesis covers the changes of the speech patterns of people with speech disorder in the novel written by an author without disabilities. Moreover, the thesis contemplates the positive potential of the narrative of the people with disabilities while censoring the possibilities of degeneration as a tool to reproduce the pain of the person in the story through people with disabilities described in the book by people without disabilities. As it is presupposed that a tool people with disabilities can choose in order to stand up to negative looks and disagreements from others, being able to speak itself could be an initial obstacle to people with speech disorder, thus the speaking could lead them to causing a falling-out was also considered. Therefore, comparison of the change of the speech representation and of the change of attitudes on how the writer without disabilities observes people with disabilities was overseen.
