Abstract

The simulation-based learning activity introduced in this study requires learner skills for rapid assessment, appropriate interventions, and accurate diagnosis in team-based patient care. Reflective thinking is the key to learning in clinical simulations. Learners are expected to learn team communication and teamwork as well as clinical skills while participating in this escape room activity. Clinical simulations incorporating the escape room format in interprofessional education will serve to promote learners' reflection in action, especially during action.
