Abstract

The article deals with prosodic ear as a special kind of musical ear aimed at perception and decoding of the meaningful parameters of music, enabling to penetrate into the subtlest shades of artistic sense. The tendencies in modern musical education directed at the development of prosodic ear in the process of the musician’s formation are considered. The author raises the question of a need for expressive intonation as an important component in the development of prosodic ear in the course of solfeggio, reveals its basic components.
