Abstract

The adolescence period is a transition period that develops from childhood to adulthood, and experiences rapid growth and change physically and mentally, but the life satisfaction of Korean adolescents is low. Therefore, some teenagers try to relieve stress by being too immersed in popular culture, especially idol stars. On the other hand, it can be said that cooperation, which is the ability to cooperate with others, is required due to the nature of fandom activities conducted as a group activity. Therefore, in this study, the effect of fandom activities and cooperation on life satisfaction was analyzed by selecting grit and happiness as parameters. The results of this study are as follows. First, it was found that fandom activities and cooperation had a positive (+) effect on grit, and in the case of fandom activities, it had a negative (-) effect on happiness. Second, it was found that grit and happiness had a complete mediating effect in the relationship between fandom activities and life satisfaction, and grit and happiness had a partial mediating effect in the relationship between cooperation and life satisfaction.
