Abstract

The purpose of this paper is to examine the trends of academic probation research through keyword network analysis, and to suggest the direction of academic probation research in the future. The key words were selected using Textom program, and the 1-mode network matrix was constructed and visualized. The analysis results are as follows. 1)The papers were published in 96 journals in five research over a 10-year period. 2)Research on academic probation is mainly focused on ‘program development and analysis’, ‘participation in programs of academic warnings’, ‘experience of academic warnings’, and ‘the impact of academic warnings on college life. 3)In the first period, many studies were conducted to identify the characteristics, status, and cause of academic warnings. In the second period, research on the process of overcoming academic warnings and counseling experiences was conducted, and in the third period, the most research was conducted on the development and evaluation of support programs for academic warnings.
