Abstract

This study proposed the introduction of multi-cycle interactive feedback(MIF) using the Google Docs to solve the problem of existing feedback that is one-way. Through MIF process, students could check in the order of writer's intention and reader's response, and in the order of corrective feedback on content and composition to that on expression. It was conducted as a pilot in an academic writing class for freshmen in college. As a result, it was confirmed that the acceptance of the feedback increased, and the proportion of revision on content and structure rather than expression increased by applying MIF. MIF is a method of efficient non-face-to-face interaction and can be applied to college writing lectures.
