Abstract
The article reveals the processes of regional regulation and management and their role in the life of the population of the territories of the subjects of the Russian Federation. It is noted that the development of municipalities, coordination between the state and municipalities, and, in general, the social development of the country depend on these processes. Globalization processes have affected almost all countries of the world, as well as individual territories (regions) and municipalities of states. The intertwining of the processes of international relations in different spheres and branches of activity has shown its effectiveness of territorial development and demonstrated a decrease in the sovereignty of the development of municipalities, regions and the country as a whole. The need for the development of regional infrastructure, the formation of a generalized system of instrumental approach to the activities of regional authorities, as well as the production of particularly important goods and products of intersectoral complexes is noted.
