Abstract

In October 2021, archaeological exploration was carried out on the territory of the Tretyakovskiy district of Altai Krai. The scientific purpose of the exploration was to search for new materials of the Late Bronze Age in the foothills of Altai, for the reconstruction of the historical and cultural situation in this region. To achieve this goal, a study was undertaken of the Goltsovka-1 settlement known from published data, located on the right bank of the Goltsovka river, in the vicinity of the Novogaltsovka village. The main task was to determine the current state of the object and assess its prospects for further stationary studies. In order to determine the boundaries of the settlement, three sweeps were carried out and two pits were laid. On the territory of the settlement, the material of the Late Bronze Age was collected, previously related to the Sargarin-Alexeev culture (the 14th -9th (8th) centuries BC).
