Abstract

The purpose of this discussion is to examine the realization of filial piety and the meaning of filial piety in the family community, focusing on the story of family sacrifice. The three types of narratives of <Goryeojang Story>, <Son Soon-mae> and <Dongja-sam> begin with the 'family dissolution phenomenon'. The most important figure in the three types of narratives is the 'grandchild'. The fact that the father, who is the subject of filial piety, shows passive or too unconventional behavior indicates that the father cannot solve the problem with his own ability. In order to solve the family disintegration phenomenon, it critically shows that the problem cannot be solved within the family.
