БЪЛГАРИНЪТ МЕЖДУ ОРИЕНТА И ЕВРОПА – ИНТЕРДИСЦИПЛИНАРЕН УРОК В VII КЛАС. ИСТОРИЧЕСКИТЕ ПРОЦЕСИ СЛЕД ОСВОБОЖДЕНИЕТО, ПРЕТВОРЕНИ В ЛИТЕРАТУРАТА И ИЗКУСТВОТО

Abstract

Bulgarians between the Orient and Europe is an interdisciplinary practice lesson in VII class, which combines the Bulgarian language, literature, history, music, arts and uses resources from the information technologies. It’s like a journey into the time of post-liberation reality, where the revival ideas and moral values were forgotten. The goal of this lesson is on basis of historical documents and Aleko’s literary works „To Chicago and Back“ and „Bay Ganyo“ students to discover the new aspirations of the Bulgarian person, his new place in the Bulgarian society and in the European space. Through the very useful for the students comparison between historical text sources and literature pieces, seventh graders perceive and comment on the authenticity of the facts and the role of literature’s figures of speech and the viewpoint and imagination of the author. In the suite „Bay Ganyo“ from Veselin Stoyanov, students discover literary images embedded in music. With cartoons, created by the seventh-graders the main character is presented in the fine arts. Role-playing games recreate the spirit of the era and students fall into the atmosphere of the late 19th century. The lesson relies on teamwork and research, on the analysis and interpretation of specific features of literary characters and their comparison with historical figures and events.
