Abstract

The purpose of this study is to examine cases of Korean-speaking classes applying blended learning, and to analyze the satisfaction of learners who participated in the class. To do this, blended learning was conducted in a Korean-speaking class for foreign students at a university in Korea. Classes were conducted by mixing offline, synchronous online, and asynchronous online classes. As a result of investigating learners' satisfaction after classes, the average was 4.73 out of 5 points, indicating that learners were satisfied with blended learning classes. And it was found that learners perceived that blended learning classes helped improve Korean language proficiency. This study is meaningful in that specific ways to use blended learning in Korean-speaking classes were explored and the effect was verified based on learners' satisfaction.
