The article is devoted to the research of issues of methodological tools of strategic development and increase of competitiveness of Ukrainian seaports. The state policy of development of seaports should promote the development of Ukrainian maritime transport infrastructure and increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian seaports.The purpose of the article is to investigate and apply the methodological tools of strategic development and increase the competitiveness of Ukrainian seaports.Scientific novelty. It is determined that the search of methodological tools for diagnostics and identification of constitutive factors of strategic development of Ukrainian seaports is burdened with certain characterological aspects, which necessitates improvement of methodological tools for identification of constructive and destructive factors of strategic development of Ukrainian seaports. A SWOT analysis of the strategic development of Ukrainian seaports has been carried out. The factors of constructive and destructive nature of the development of seaports are determined. The indicators of competitiveness of the country as a whole and its individual structures are analyzed. The influence of individual factors, such as export, import, transit, cargo turnover, on the level of competitiveness of maritime infrastructure is determined by the method of correlation-regression analysis.Conclusions.
