Abstract

The paper considers the state of the issue of improving the route network of the town of Bryansk and possible directions of their improvement. It analyses the variants of existing bus and trolleybus routes and reveals the routes with high degree of duplication. It is suggested to change the duplicated routes using trolleybuses with the dynamic charging and having a sufficiently large autonomous travel reserve. The possible reduction of total mass emissions of exhaust gases and significant reduction of operating costs in case of application of trolleybuses with dynamic charging is determined.
