Abstract

The article is devoted to the analysis of S.V. Kiselev’s works, which present information about the ceramic dishes of the Pazyryk culture. The selected works are divided into two groups according to their content. In the first part of this article, there is a list of vessels that were found during excavations carried out by S.V. Kiselev in the 1930s in the Altai mounds of the Scythian-Saka period. In the second part of this article, there is a summary of Kiselyov’s views on the study of the “Pazyryk epoch” ceramic dishes. Thanks to his work, the found ceramic items entered scientific circulation and were properly analyzed. S.V. Kiselev also studied pottery found on the Forest-Steppe Altai territory. It is worth noting that even though S.V. Kiselyov did not study ceramic dishes of the Pazyryk culture, he expressed a number of ideas when considering it.
