Abstract
The revival of Russia is directly connected with the education of spirituality of students who realize the most important social function of determining the future of the country. By the education of spirituality, the authors understand the formation of the quality of the subject of social development on the basis of the highest moral values - Truth, Truth, Goodness, Beauty. The article analyzes the ideas of Moscow university students about spirituality based on the results of a specific sociological study. The most important conclusion of the study is the established correspondence of the fundamental (including domestic) philosophical and theoretical understanding of spirituality to empirical results - the respondents most often mention intangible, spiritual values, followed by religious values, as well as the importance of development, knowledge, culture, art, self-understanding, communication with loved ones. Thus, the philosophical concept of spirituality coincides with the associative series of ordinary Russian students. The conclusions presented in the publication may be of interest to the agents of the educational process for the organization of contact and independent work of students on the education of spirituality, as well as directly to the students themselves for the reflection of their own spiritual potential.
