Abstract

This study aims to explore operational strategies for revitalizing the education of traditional Chinese Han-Tang dance in the dance departments of nine Chinese universities with established Han-Tang dance professors and research centers. To achieve this, a survey using the Modified Delphi method was conducted with 20 experts, including participants in Han- Tang dance research projects at the selected nine Chinese universities and university instructors. The results categorized improvement factors for the Han-Tang dance education curriculum and approaches into four main areas: Administration and Finance, Organizational, Educational Environment and Facilities, and Professional Staffi ng and Educational Program. Based on these fi ndings, recommended strategies are presented for establishing an eff ective educational system for Han-Tang dance in Chinese dance departments are presented.
