Abstract
Public transit be pivotal in ensuring the efficient and safe functioning of the city, connecting various parts of the city into a single system. For passengers to be able to safely wait for public transport, as well as to board and disembark from it, it is necessary to properly equip the space for this, namely, a bus stop. Bus stops are key elements of the transport infrastructure, which should provide a highlevel of comfort and safety for passengers. To assess the effectiveness of bus stops, a methodology has been developed that considers several criteria to determine the quality and efficiency of thepublic transit bus stops functioning.
