Abstract

Spatial arrangement of social sphere objects plays an important role in the various economic processes organization. It is responsible for migration flows and the labor movement. Despite this the spatial factor has been still taken into account in studies reflected mainly in terms of the availability of accommodation establishments and population in a certain area. Foreign scientific works deal with these issues more often treating them separately and including them in a comprehensive study. This article discusses some techniques to optimize the health facilities spatial distribution offered by foreign authors. In addition, there is an example of a weighted Voronoi diagrams possible application for solving the issues related to the location of these facilities in the rural areas in Russia. It is shown that it is necessary to analyze not only the paired relationship between different objects, but the whole system. The social sphere spatial structure is determined equally as distance parameters, and its topology. DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.12731/2218-7405-2014-4-8
