Abstract

The article analyzes a number of aspects of the process of growing up of minors, during which they simultaneously go through stages of physical, intellectual, personal and social formation, and also encounter factors that negatively affect the organization of their upbringing. The authors evaluate individual forms and directions in youth policy, “social voids”, “vacuums in the educational process” that exist at the present time, which are quickly filled with market consumer goods, pseudo-culture and the values of foreign “freedom” with the help of Internet capabilities and telecommunications. for the imbalanced personality of young people. The inaccessibility in the conditions of market relations for a certain part of children and youth of participation in organized and mass forms of sports, the limited involvement of them in sports, recreational and creative development activities, give rise to certain contradictions in the children's and youth environment. In conditions of weakened parental and official control, children and youth are subject to the elements of self-organization in various negative formats and areas of involvement in asocial processes.
